Church Support Specialist

The Church Support Specialist (CSS) position might be PERFECT for you if you’re a positive, relational, and organized person who has a love to serve people.

We’re looking for a person who shows up with a get-it-done attitude and is always thinking ahead on how we can better serve church leaders, lay leaders and couples.

This is a part-time position (~20-25 hrs/wk) primarily during normal business hours (Tues, Wed, Thurs.) either remote or in our offices (Owensboro, KY).

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to…)

  • Onboarding new churches, providing launch training, promotion strategy and ongoing support.
  • Communicating with our growth team.
  • Keeping clear notes and activity history in a CRM.
  • Ongoing phone/email contact with church leaders and facilitators soliciting feedback and providing encouragement.

Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate must be :

  • A current participant in a Grace Marriage group.
  • Able to manage a large number of accounts.
  • A thinker and a doer. You don’t need to be told what to do — you’re innovative, resourceful, and able to anticipate the needs of a church..
  • A positive, high-energy individual with a get it done mindset that searches for solutions.
  • A high level professional with emotional maturity.
  • Responsive and communicative. You know how to close the loop and confirm information received so tasks are completed.
  • Technically competent and current. You must understand how to manage the following systems:
    Working knowledge of Microsoft products.
    Working knowledge of Zoom meetings.
    Working knowledge of social media platforms.
    Ability to learn and master data entry into a CRM, email automation and content management.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills — you have a knack for connecting with people on the phone or through zoom calls.
